How to Install
- Remove existing stem – Loosen the stem’s steerer clamp bolts and remove the stem from your fork.
- Install extender – Slide the bicycle stem extender onto the fork’s steerer tube. Ensure it’s fully seated and aligned.
- Mark minimum insertion – Check that the extender is inserted deep enough to meet minimum insertion requirements (usually marked on the extender).
- Tighten steerer clamp – Secure the extender to the fork using the provided hardware. Do not overtighten.
- Mount your stem – Place your existing stem onto the top of the extender. Adjust to desired height and angle.
- Tighten stem bolts – Secure the stem to the extender using your stem’s bolts. Torque to manufacturer specifications.
- Test and adjust – Ensure everything is tight and aligned. Test ride and make minor adjustments as needed.
